Reading charts
What is support and resistance?
Support is a price area where falling prices tend to stop because buyers step in. Resistance is an area where rising prices tend to stall because sellers step in.
Picture a ball bouncing in a room. Support is the floor. Resistance is the ceiling.
These are zones, not exact lines. Price often pokes a little past them before turning.
When price breaks through, the old floor can become the new ceiling, and the other way around. Traders call that a role reversal.
